Do it Best Members Choose LEHR Eco Trimmer as 2008 'Best New Item' in Member Choice Awards

LOS ANGELES (Oct. 21, 2008) – LEHR Incorporated, an innovator in environmentally friendly technology and a leader in the research and development of propane powered lawn and garden equipment, announces that the LEHR Eco Trimmer has been honored with a Do it Best 2008 Members' Choice Award in the "Best New Item" category. The choice was made by Do it Best member-owners from more than 1,400 new items. The award was presented to LEHR CEO and founder, Captain Bernardo J. Herzer, at the 2008 Do it Best October Market held in Indianapolis, Indiana, Oct. 11–14.

The LEHR Eco Trimmer is the world's first hand-held garden tool available that uses a standard 16.4-ounce propane canister as its fuel source making it more efficient, more reliable, and better for the environment than its gasoline-powered counterparts. The award winning product will be available at participating Do it Best hardware stores and other major retail outlets nationwide by the spring of 2009.
